She's a little young for that.

Maddie and Riley were eating hummus for lunch on Saturday. I was doing dishes with my back to the table. I heard Maddie say, "Maddie wearing make-up."

Hmmm.

I turned around and you guessed it: her whole face was covered with a thin layer of hummus!

I had to laugh. What else was I supposed to do?

She carried a lingering scent of garlic with her for the rest of the day.

Hi Snick! Just catching up on your past 4 posts. The twins are just delicious! They are adorable! Glad to hear you're doing well, despite some tough evenings. I'm having a very hard time at work and I hate to say that I've been taking out my unhappiness and stress out on my husband. I try to tell myself that you'd tell me not to do that...to appreciate every day I have with him but it's difficult at times. Anyhow, have a great day.

YES! Love her creative attitude!

Buddha loves asking me for make-up - much to the chagrin of my husband! I give him Chapstick now.

Oh funny! At least it wasn't many colors of marker, yep, my big one did it to my little one!
Hummus probably does make a good facial! Maybe she is on to something!

Isn't that more like a mask? Is she trying to tell us something? Like that she wants a spa gift certificate for her birthday?

I got home one evening and neither my husband nor my 14 yr old were watching my baby. He excitedly yelled from the kitchen that his hair was black. I went in to find him covered in chocolate syrup. Sure enough, his hair was black as well as the rest of his body. What else can you do but laugh and be sure to snap a picture. He smelled sweet the rest of the day!

At least you didn't have to worry about vampires for the day...

Who knows? Maybe chickpeas really help to open up the pores...

Glad to hear a good time was had by all.
