Commitment

I guess I'm reasonably committed to this WW thing. At 9:15pm yesterday, I pulled myself together to make zero-point veggie soup rather than wallow on the couch eating brownies and watching mindless TV. We'll see how long the commitment lasts.

No-point soup is good, but have you tried 1-point chili? That is my favorite.

Let me know if you'd like the recipe.

You can do it! I had a baby last November, and started WW this May. I've lost almost 30 pounds and am 4 pounds away from my target! I know it's hard. All I wanted to eat last night was a big fat cheesy quesadilla with salsa, but instead had a 2-point WW snack. I know, not nearly as tasty and satisfying, but I felt better today having not been a pig last night!

Good luck!

The brownies do sound yummier (can you tell what my biggest food problem is?)

I really need your no-point soup recipe!!!!

Good luck you are inspiring me to get started!

One Point Chili - One Point per cup

1 lb extra-lean ground turkey
1 medium onion, diced
2 (28-oz) cans diced tomatoes
2 medium zucchini, diced
2 medium yellow squash diced
1 (15 oz) can black beans
2 (15-oz) cans fat-free, reduced-sodium beef broth
4 celery stalks, diced
2 green bell peppers, diced
1 (1 1/4-oz) package dry chili seasonings.

Spray a large nonstick skillet with nonstick spray and set over medium-high heat. Add the turkey and onion and saute until browned, about 10 minutes.
Transfer the browned turkey and onion mixture to a large soup pot and add the tomatoes, zucchini, squash, beans, broth, celery, bell peppers, and chili seasoning. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Continue to simmer until the vegetables are tender, about 20 minutes.

I also usually add a package of chopped button mushrooms.

I hope you enjoy. It freezes really well.

If you NEED brownies. Try no pudge brand they are really good and made with yogurt!

Health food stores have them and I have found them at some grocery store chains.
