Small Sigh of Relief

Watched the final episode of Season 1 of Grey's Anatomy last night. No parallels to my own life were noted, unless Dr. Shepard is the representation of GH and GH has a wife he's not telling me about . . . but I think not.

The plotlines in this show are really kind of ridiculous, but I love it. Don't I get enough medical drama in my personal life? I'm a sucker for the medical and legal shows.

As an aside, we're having awful weather here in Boston today (although not as bad as many other parts of the country). I made it to daycare to drop off the kids, and now I'm at work, but my office is closing at 1:00. Maddie and Riley can stay at daycare until 4:30. Woo-woo! Afternoon to myself! I'll probably use it to do their packing for our trip next week, but it will still be nice to putter around the house on my own. GH is at treatment today. And oh, it's Valentine's Day! I have a card for GH, but as I said last year, I'm not much of a Valentine's Day person. Our alone night on the Oregon coast next week can be our belated celebration.

Happy Valentine's to you, like you, I don't put much emphasis on it either. Lots of ice here, hope you all fare ok through the weather, enjoy your afternoon of uninterrupted packing!
