Episode 1, Season 2 involved a woman pregnant with twins. It was a minor plotline, to be sure, but still.
My prediction is that fibroids are next up.

You better check to see if someone is following you around, maybe you are entitled to some royalties?? :)
If you think the plotlines are ridiculous now, just wait. . . Don't get me started on the all-male camping trip. Aside from anything that happens within the episode, the idea that most of the key hospital staff could get off at the exact same time . . .
What I do enjoy is that if I just set aside the over the top plot elements, I love what they do with the characters in the midst of it all.
