Misc.

1. We are in Oregon. Trip was long, but OK. GH had a pretty serious bloody nose the night before our trip and we were concerned that we were going to the OR instead of to OR, but it all worked out.

2. I did not get the job that I interviewed for. I think it's for the best, although I'm somewhat disappointed and annoyed that they brought me in for two interviews before deciding that they really need someone who speaks Spanish. They really should have thought about that before the wrote the job description that read "French and/or Spanish."

3. Babies went to bed easily last night and were exhausted after the trip. They woke up promptly at 3:30 a.m. Oregon time, right on Boston schedule. They went back to sleep until 5:00, though, so not bad. We'll see if they adjust any more over the course of the week, but if not, I can live with 5:00 a.m.

4. I don't think I'll be blogging much from here. We'll see. Too much visiting with family to do!

Be well, one and all.

1. Glad you survived the long trip, so sorry about the stressful night before.
2. That is so annoying, they should not have wasted your time, not to mention the stress that comes with 2 interviews and the dreaded wait time until their decision.
3. The babies rock, hope they adjust well to the new setting and time zone.
4. Enjoy, relax and have lots of fun.

Hope you have a wonderful trip and visit, etc. Glad the trip out went well.

On the job stuff, you're right, probably a blessing in disguise.

Enjoy the family time!

Side note: I'm home sick today and finally got to read your post about your mother-in-law. I'm sure that's old news by now, but phew! I hear you. I've not yet been in a screaming match, but Jrex is often in the middle. I think for me I just shrug it off and figure that their visits are temporary and if she really wants to stuff the freezer with food we'll end up throwing out, that's her deal. But, I have a very strong suspiscion that if we threw kids in the mix (and a life-threatening illness) that easy shrug would change drastically.

Sorry about the interview! If they are that disorganized about the job interview, then it likely is for the best. What a waste of your limited time and energy though...
