My, what big babies you have!

Saw the twins yesterday. They are lookin' goooooooood. Baby A is head down--make that head WAY down--with her legs crossed. How modest. Baby B is transverse across the top of my belly. I can feel his bum if I poke around high up on my left side. He's sprawled out taking up quite a bit of room, stretching while he can before quarters get too tight.

Baby A weighs 3lbs 4oz and Baby B weighs 3lbs 5oz. They are both in the 35th percentile for weight, but it's normal for them to be on the smaller size like that since the percentiles are for single babies. In fact, for twins, that's quite respectable. Keep up the good work, kids!

C-section seven weeks from Thursday. So far, no restrictions on my activity. My fingers are crossed that I continue to feel good and that the babies continue to be so healthy.

Yeah- how many weeks are you now?

Does "yeah" read "yay- I'm excited for you?" or "yeah, whatever." Obviously I meant the former, not the latter.

That's excellent news! It's hard enough to imagine one baby crammed in the belly, the contortions of two must be lots of fun!

Sounds like Baby girl is already wise to the fact that brothers like to try to kick you in the head! (theoretically speaking. I have no experiences with little brothers who throw things, or kick, or hit, or unplug the phone when you're talking with your boyfriend. *Ahem*)

Leggy, I'm 31 weeks now. Movin' right along.

Just had to drop my mom off at the airport during my lunch hour. As we were driving to the airport, it hit me that the next time I see her, I will have TWO CHILDREN. That made it all seem so real to me in a way nothing else has yet. Yikes!

Wow--that's simply astounding; it's getting so close! I'm glad you all are feeling fine, and hope you are enjoying the anticipation...and that special terror that impending motherhood brings! (I still have moments where I look at myself and say, "I'm a mother? With responsibility for a *human being*? No way....."

Snickollet, you have yourself some big kids! My twin girls were 4.2 and 4.5 pounds at birth.

Being a mom of twins is hard, but it is so rewarding. I'm so very happy for you and GH! I hope the next 7 weeks are uneventful.
