However, I can one-up that. My mother-in-law flew across the country (She has a job.) to help me cope with my daughter's diaper rash. It was really truly awful. The doctor cried when he saw her poor little behind.
I have the most wonderful in-laws of all time. My own parents, though ...
Oh yes. I hear you!! About 18 months ago, my husband AND I came down with some kind of horrific flu like thing - AT THE SAME TIME!! My folks lived a 45 minute drive away and they drove to us, medicated us and picked up our 1 year old and 4 year old and took them home for the night. Hubby and I climbed into bed and did not move till the next morning.

I wish Blogger had a Facebook-esque "Like" button; I would click it in response to your post. Glad you're feeling better.
Snick - I'm so glad and relieved for you that you have the support you need and deserve. Get well soon!
Thank goodness for moms and dads!
Hope you're all feeling better!
I so hear you.. Have my sis and MOM nearby and able to help in a pinch. Try not to but when I need them they are there :) As I am for them.
What you say is true.
