Quick question--I'm a new mom to a 6 month old girl and live in the Boston area. Could you let me know which zoo is better--Stone or Franklin? I read some terrible reviews online and want to know if its worth visiting either. I grew up in RI and know the zoo there is very nice, but it's also 60 miles away. Thanks!

I've never been to the Franklin Park Zoo, so I can't comment on that one. I live near the Stone Zoo and have been there a few times. Compared to the zoo in the town were I grew up (Portland, OR), the Stone Zoo is really nothing special. That said, it's small and easy to navigate and keeps the kids interested. In fact, I've been meaning to go back soon . . . maybe I'll go this weekend!
