I'm such a sap!

I'm paying bills, and I have Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (a show I've never watched before) on in the background. I keep totally breaking down crying! The family who is getting the new house (the Latifs) is headed by a single mom. She has four kids, one of whom is wheelchair-bound. All of her children seem like such good, sweet kids, and one of the hosts keeps going off about how he was raised by a single mother and it means so much to him to be able to help another single mom out.

I'm such a sap! Idol makes me cry, now this . . .

Something of more substance to come tomorrow about our great weekend and our fashion faux pas. (OK, maybe substance is the wrong word.)

Ok, this one seriously has me balling. I'm sitting here nursing my baby, and started crying when she was talking about how she had to take 8 buses a day to get to school/work/daycare. I can't imagine, I think I would have given up. I was a single mother, and thought I had it bad. Now, I realize I had it really good.
I can't wait to see the end result!

I actually had to stop watching that show because I would just cry Sunday nights away while watching people get incredible homes.

Sister, I can't watch that show on a regular basis because I end up sitting there sobbing my damn eyes out the entire show. I saw the previews this week and made sure that I wouldn't watch.

The crew was here locally about 1 1/2 years ago. I had a snow day and was having breakfast at IHOP with Buddha and a friend. The crew walked in, smiled and waved at Buddha, and were VERY nice. Their personalities are no act for the camera.

I can't watch that show (or Dog Whisperer or pretty much anything on Animal Planet) because all I do is cry and cry.

I think I am heartless. All I kept thinking was "Why can't they come here and re-do my house?" LOL

Yep, my husband and I dubbed that show "the crying show" because that is all I would do through the entire thing. And there were a couple of them that got HIM tearing up. Had to stop watching it...

My friend Lori, on her blog, calls that show "Watch and Cry." It's not just you. :-)
Looking forward to hearing about the fashion faux pas! ASH spent most of yesterday with his zipper down before I discovered it, but I guess at almost 20 months it doesn't count so much.

Yeah, I always cry, too. I'm glad they're finally giving hybrid cars out to go with their energy efficient houses. The little old lady neighbor is what got me last night. Usually its the "We paid off your mortgage." Luckily for me I didn't get into Idol this season. Living vicariously through you, though...

I had to stop watching that show a couple years ago because it would make me cry EVERY TIME, and I'd be a mess for the remainder of Sunday evening.

I forgot to watch last night because we were babysitting, but it always amazes me: how fast can they make me cry this time? During the opening credits?

I like that the show helps out people who really need it. Although Ty needs to lose that megaphone, because he's really annoying.

I don't think I've ever watched that show without crying...

Did you know the Mother's Day episode is about a family right here in Massachusetts -- Maynard, to be exact? I know my company donated money to the guy, who was in an accident and had to live with his parents in elderly housing because his house wasn't handicapped-accessible. I never watch Extreme Makeover, but I'm planning on tuning in.

And thanks for the daycare tips on my blog. Tomorrow is stressing me out majorly.
