Merry Christmas

We made it to Oregon. Right now, I'm listening to Ri-Man cry himself to sleep for a nap. This is his second nap today and his second really hard time going down. I'm not used to listening to the crying anymore and it's killing me.

The flight out was OK. Thank goodness my dad was with us to help out. I'm sure I could have done it alone if I'd had to, but it would have been very, very ugly.

We are having a great time so far. The kids are being doted upon and I'm loving having so many hands on deck. Tomorrow we head for the Oregon coast for two nights. Should be fun.

Now if only the exhausted Riley would give in and go to sleep.

Merry Christmas to those of you who celebrate it and general good cheer to those of you who don't.

So happy to read that the flight out was good and you had an extra pair of hands to help out. So sorry to read about Riley, poor little guy, I really hope he gets back into his usual sleep routine soon. Merry Christmas!

Welcome back to the West Coast! I love living out here (I'm in WA), and the Oregon Coast is a personal favorite. Which beach location are you going to?

Hope Ri-man is falling asleep better by now.
BTW, did you find that GoGoKidz made it extremely hard to unbuckle the airplane seatbelt from under the carseats? (We had a hell of a time that on our last leg, we pulled the GoGoKidz off the carseat before securing the carseat on the airplane.)
I'm loving the idea of you having so many hands on deck... hope they pamper the heck out of you and the twins!
Happy (early) New Year!

An exhausted child crying him or herself to sleep is bad mojo. I hate that for you guys. Buddha fell on his face, literally, last night. He slammed onto the arm of my chair and then wiggled over to my shoulder.

I hope you can truly enjoy this time with your family. You and the babies were on my mind a great deal this past week.

Bless your Dad for coming all the way out to help you with the twins on the plane! I'll bet they'll especially enjoy going to visit him! What a wonderful thing for him to do.

Anon (A)--

We're in Lincoln City. Today we're going to the OR Coast Aquarium. Fun times! I love it over here.

Mama Nabi--

I have the newest version of the GoGo, which has quick release wheels and is supposed to be easier to deal with on the plane. We had no trouble attaching it to the airline seat or putting it in the taxi or my parents' car with the whole kit and caboodle attached, thank goodness.
