Riley took three steps today!
I was sitting on the floor, and he was standing facing me, holding on to my outstretched fingers. I took my fingers away, and he stood there with no support for a second, looking around. Then he took three steps towards me and collapsed on me in a big hug.
OK, it was more like staggering. But still! He did the same thing again later in the evening.

Oh, wow! Weren't they just born, like a few days ago, or something? It sure seems like it. They are growing up SO fast. What a big boy! Boog didn't walk until he was 16 months old! Next thing you know they'll be running the 5k. Hee hee.
I love your various photos of him. It makes it easy to visualize him staggering around the house on his sturdy little legs.

Wow, what an early walker! Em didn't walk until 15 months... I wonder if Maddie will follow his lead? Anyway, I totally second Rachel's comment - good luck on the childproofing!

Go Riley! My Evie started walking at 9.5 months and running by 10. While you're taping everything to the ceiling, make sure you pad anything and everything baby level because he will manage to somehow bang his head on it. For the first few months after my kids learned how to walk, I was too embarrassed to take them out in public since their heads were bruised so often.

Yay for Riley!! That is so exciting and wonderful news, I love that "drunken sailor" walk that babies have, so adorable. Hope you're in good shape, now comes the chasing and running after the toddler time, have fun!
