I was sooooo excited to have the day after Christmas to just laze around, read all day, take a walk, do whatever, have nothing planned. But no, Universe, you had to intervene. Granted, it could have been a lot worse, but really, did you have to make that the only day that GH and I could go up to Portsmouth to see Devon and Joe? Couldn't you have made it work out so that we could stop in Portsmouth on our way up to Portland on Wednesday, as would be logical? No, no, no. You couldn't, could you. You had to make it so that rather than having a free day at home, I was stuck in the car, then stuck all afternoon with one of my least favorite people in the world.
I acknowledge that Joe was less obnoxious than he has been in the past. And that the afternoon as a whole was fine, even pleasant. But still! It wasn't what I wanted to be doing.
I ask you this, Universe: Where is your Christmas spirit?

LOOKING OVER YOU POSTS. I CAN NOT HELP BUT BE SYMPATHETIC. I FEEL YOUR STRESS TOO.
BY THE WAY, MY WIFE IS PREGNANT ALSO. SHE IS VERY NERVOUS, EVERY LITTLE TWITCH IN HERE BODY FREAKS HER OUT. THIS IS OUR FIRST PREGNANCY AND SHE IS TERRIFIED, AND EXCITED. STRANGE HOW THAT WORKS. WELL GOOD LUCK IN LIFE. HOPE THE UNIVERSE BENDS YOUR WAY SOON.
Who are these people?
