Four

Happy fourth birthday to Maddie and Riley!

There were chocolate croissants and juice and presents and singing and candles and cupcakes and nonstop queries of "Are we four now?"

Yes, you are four. The mind boggles.

Hi,

A friend (who's also a twin) read your blog and noticed your kids look VERY similar to my twins (also 4 years old, 4.5 actually). When I saw the photo I was shocked, the boys look really alike! Here'a photo of my twins I put on flickr. I have other photos that have the look-alikes but I'll have to go through my photos later to upload..

My friend said she found my twin's "twins"!

Happy Birthday!

Four's been the easiest age, so far.

How wonderful! My fourth was the first/earliest birthday I remember. It sounds like you all had a sweet celebration. :)

And have you shown Riley and Maddie their "twins"? :) The resemblance really is striking! It'll be neat to see how alike the four kids look as they grow up. :)

Happy Birthday! When I was told I was expecting triplets the doctor told me that the first 4 years would be hard. I always wondered why he said 4 and not 3 or 2 etc. Now that my girls are 5 I fully understand. You are going to see how different they become - it is as if someone has suddenly put the "lights" on - things just get easier.

Good idea Val. I'll check in one year when Maddie & Riley turn 5 and we can compare notes (photos rather). ;-)
