Answers to a Couple of Questions (Edited Twice!)

A couple of questions keep coming up, so just to get everyone in the know:

1. Mr. Coffee works in the pharmaceutical industry.
2. He knows I have a blog. And he knows my name. So if he wants to find the blog, it would be very, very easy for him to do so, although I have not given him my URL. As far as I know, he has not looked for it. I think he'd tell me. But I don't actually know. I write my posts on the assumption that he might be reading them or that he could start reading them at any time.

And hey! Speaking of Mr. Coffee, I just got an e-mail from him. I guess he found an Internet connection after all. Must go read.

EDITED: He has "been thinking of [me] and about all the fun we could be having . . . " and he will "plan on seeing [me] as soon as [he gets] in." Yay! Just wish he were getting in sooner than next Friday . . .

EDITED AGAIN: Mr. Coffee is very protective of his privacy, and I'm leery of revealing too much personal information about him. I'm already second-guessing posting about what kind of work he does. So for now, I'm not telling you where he's from. Just rest assured that the accent is very, Very VERY sexy. If you just have to know, e-mail me (see sidebar).

Like the idea that he is actively seeking out opps to email you.

Hope it was a good email.... ;)

What does it say, what does it say?

It's weird to think that people you know may well be reading your stuff, and even weirder to think that new people are reading it.

I definitely have that in mind when making posts, and don't talk about my blog much in public.

What else does it say, what else does it say?

Also one more question! You mentioned he has an accent in your last post, where is he from!?!

I am loving every one of your posts, I am so excited for next friday too!

So nice....I am so happy for you, and hope the time passes quickly until next Friday. Although, I am sure, being the mother of twins, that your time has a way of vanishing at warp speed. Savor the anticipation!

You have left a lot of us wondering about the accent. Is is a stong Boston accent? An English or Irish accent? Come on! This was an important question too!!

Since I am fairly new here and can't really comment on Mr. Coffee, I will just say that the people in my real life don't for the most part know I blog, I don't talk about it IRL, and while it would be totally a cinch to find it/me, it hasn't happened yet. I don't filter much of what I say except to omit some names.

Sexy accent - hmmmmmm By the way, my friend here in Michigan has a pharmaceutical rep for a husband and she gets to travel to the coolest spots. He has from Scotland. So what is it with the pharmaceutical guys and their accents :) :) Your blog comments keep us coming back....

ohhhh, I know. I guess cuz I'm in the Circle of Trust! :) It's good to be friends! Don't worry Mr. Coffee, your secret is safe with me!

Did you know he had an accent before you met him the first time? Or was it just a nice little suprise?

I am betting it's not a Boston accent... But don't tell! This way, we can all imagine our own Mr. Darcy's!

Since he is in Africa I am going with a South African accent. Those are very nice!

I know he knows you blog, but do you think he understands that that means you're blogging about him, in a lot of detail? That's the only thing I worry about, especially if he's protective of his privacy.

If he does, that's awesome. I'd just take pains to make it clear to him that he could be a subject of your blogging, if it hasn't been said explicitly.

I'm dying to know but I'm almost as happy to not know. It lets me imagine and superimpose various very sexy accents on Mr. Coffee. Most of the time he is Irish or South African. Sometimes he's Australian and believe it or not, a Texan. Love that Matthew McConaughey-like drawl!

It ain't German, that's all I am saying (and I am German)...anyway, I hear you. Privacy is vital. I usually only blog about dates after the fact and if I actually date someone for longer (GASP) I barely write about it,because my blog is so easy to find and people have found it.

Snick has been very open with everything.
John's illness. The decision to have and raise children knowing he would not be there. The relationship with the in-laws. Her questions of herself and her parenting skills.

It will be hard to draw the line on this new phase of her life.
We will have to be patient and understanding of a new direction with this blog if she chooses to be more discreet with this or any future relationships, instead of the kiss and tell.

Or we could say from this point on. It must be included in your dating profile, that we are part of the package.

I still want to hear all of Riley and Maddie's business though. We're past all of that with them. We know poop stories.

Accents are sexy, that is one of the things that I thought was so appealing about my Italian husband when I first met him...and our first date was to see Il Postino and eat pizza afterwards.

If he was a woman, I'd guarantee he's read the blog from beginning to end, and every comment ;-) Harder to tell with guys. I be he's at least looked at it, although he's busy!

Hi, Mr. Coffee. Sorry that we Internets have prematurely married you off to Snick. As you know, it is us, not her, that is rushing things! But you seem like a good man, hot and perhaps worthy! :-)

I'm like you, I like to know what my possibilities are. It helps me feel happier with the final decision.

Being married to a super-private person, I'd say you're doing the right thing by erring on the side of overprotection. I have to show Jrex any blog entry that includes him before I get to publish it.

I have been checking in on your blog - went through something similar; husband died in 2005, had our baby nine months later...in 2007, I met a wonderful man. It was just supposed to be a date and now we're living together. I keep being reminded of the saying "may you live an interesting life." Indeed. You go, girl!

Mmm...accents.

I think everyone would have their own opinions on the sexiness thereof. I think Australian accents are cute, but South African ones are *swoon*!

Really when I was in college there was a grad student who worked in a campus office where I spent a lot of time. I found nothing else about him attractive, but that South African accent! He could have told me to go jump off a cliff, and I would have...happily.

My money's on Italian. Australian accents are great on girls, but not so attractive on blokes.

Signor Caffe. Piu bello.
