Having Too Much Fun to Post

Just a quick note to say that we're having a great time in Oregon, so much so that I (obviously) haven't been posting. I haven't been reading, either; I opened my Google Reader the other day and about fell over when I saw how many posts I have to catch up on! I look forward to doing that, but don't see it happening before we head home to Boston.

Highlights of the trip include the twins getting lots of time with their grandparents and me getting a lot of time for myself. I'm headed for a hot springs resort today with my best friend for a soak and massage, and tomorrow I'm getting my tattoo. Finally. There will be lots to report on when I finally get around to reporting.

I do have a lot of more serious things on my mind, too, about moving back to Oregon, about the first holidays without John. That will come, too.

Hoping that 2008 is off to a great start for you and yours.

Good luck! Glad you are having a great time. I have been able to tell that you've wanted to move back to Oregon from several posts... I hope you will be able to do that. Having your best friend and your family network would be a great resource for you!

Happy New Year, Snick. It has to be better than last year, in all ways but one.
Maybe we'll get our meet-up before you leave the 'hood.

I'm so happy to hear that Oregon, your family, and your friends made the end of 2007 bearable and the beginning of 2008 wonderful! You and the kid deserve that so much more!

Hot springs soak and massage = hedonistic good times!

I did that with a college buddy a couple of years ago and was sated for days!

Hope things continue to be fabulous. I have wanted so many times to tell you to move home but have held back because, in the end, there are many factors I just don't know. What I do know is that you love your parents so much and having them and your friends to help with the kids and give you grown up support seems dreamy. Plus, you haven't been thrilled with your job.. Maybe another reason to move on. I always try to look for signs. Are there are for you?
