Bye-Bye Job

I gave my notice! It was actually rather anti-climactic, but it's done. Two weeks and I'm outta here.

I'm late in my congratulations but congrats on the offer and the notice! Hope the next two weeks go by quickly for you.

Good news. Always good to just go in Monday morning and get it done. Do you think they expected it? I'm glad it was anti-climactic... less stressful that way!

Whoo hoo! There is nothing like the feeling of giving notice at a bad job. Unless it's the glee you feel when you look back at what you realize was an even more toxic and horrible environment than you thought at the time (and you thought it was VERY toxic), and know that you are FREE!!! I hope the new job turns out to be even better than you thought it would be.

Love,
Jen (fellow escapee from snick's workplace)

Way to go. Anytime I have given notice, they have asked me to leave by the end of the day - tough they paid me for the two weeks. Are they letting you stay to work out your notice term?

I hope your new job is awesome. By the way, will this involve moving or will you be staying in the same place? I know you've been debating about Oregon. I've missed a few entries lately...just wondering if I missed out on that!

Good for you, Snick, for having the courage to make a change. Sounds like things are going well overall. (And props for your John Edwards post, btw -- I agree and couldn't have said it better myself.) Keep us posted!

Snick,

I agree wholeheartedly with your John Edwards post.
I'm also wondering if your job is taking you to another state - like Oregon?

WOOOOOO! Good for you! That's always so much scarier beforehand, right up until the very second it happens.
