Who's the Culprit?

OK, Internets, I'm starting to suspect that it was one of you who sent me the Land's End gift certificate and the instructions to buy a couple of more pair of pants.

Anyone want to 'fess up? Send me an e-mail. Or remain anonymous. No matter what, just know that you did a wonderful thing. Thank you.

Unrelated, Maddie busted out with another sentence this morning: "I have jacket." I had put her coat on the coffee table, and my back was to her while I helped Riley with his hat. I heard her say, "I have jacket," and turned to see her holding her coat tight to her chest. Little rascal.

I am most definitely not the culprit, but that was really, really sweet.

If you do find out who it was, ask them if they want to buy my blog name. It'd be a perfect fit.

O I wish I was the culprit. What a sweet thing to do.

Dear Culprit, have you had a chance to check out MY blog? It's at babybound.wordpress.com All sorts of musings and shinanigans to keep you thoroughly entertained through the new year. What? You can't get to a computer because you are burried under a pile of gift certificates for pants? Don't worry, Culprit, I've sent for help. That's how much I care about you C. That. Much.

I'm just wondering how the generous culprit had your address. You never know what might arrive if we had a safe (PO box ?) to send gifties to (said the furious knitter ;)

Great idea! It was not me. I'm way bigger on intention than on follow-through...

You know that the use of 'I' in a child under 2 is pretty amazing, right? Much more likely to be 'maddie got jacket' or even 'me got jacket', but 'I have jacket' is pretty damn impressive. She's a genius!

I doubt the culprit will ever step forward. That is, after all, the spirit of the season. That is the nicest thing ever, though! It makes me want to go out and do something nice for someone, too, which I hope was the intention.

Amy--

If it was one of the Internets, there are select few of you who have my address. So I have my suspicions! No matter what, I'm looking forward to doing a little shopping.
