Overload!

Work! It is crashing in around me! I have meeting after meeting, homework for my online class, expense reports to submit, journals to read, surveys to write, materials to review, quarterly goals to b.s. my way through.

Good news: I've been on-task at work, a rarity of late.

Bad news: Even on-task, I'm seriously overwhelmed!

More bad news: No time to blog!

I hope to resurface soon. I have things to say, for crying out loud.

Oh, on the subject of jobs, still no call back from the place I interviewed.

On the subject of how wonderful, amazing, and cute my children are: Riley got his second tooth! As my best friend's mom would say, it doesn't make him smart. But I'm still proud.

what about maddie? did we ever hear why she has physical therapy?

Anon--No, I have not updated on Maddie's therapy. Something else to blog about. For now, a quick short answer. She has very mild torticollis, or "wry neck." Her head is tilted a bit to the right at all times, probably from cramped position in the womb. She's getting therapy so stretch her neck and help her gain strength. She's a superstar! More when I do a real twin update--thanks for asking about her.

I have a really good friend whose daughter had torticollis (didn't look so mild) as an infant, and physical therapy did the trick!
Sorry you're overwhelmed. You're entitled.
Cheers-

And excuse me, but I'm sure the tooth is an indication of genius.

Sorry you're feeling so overwhelmed, hope it gets better soon.

Glad to hear the twins are doing so great, way to go Riley!

Hope you get a break soon, but glad to hear the twins are doing well.

Take care.

Just had a chance to read the job post. I hear you on being overwhelmed, yet bored at the same time. My job has a fast pace with quick turn-arounds, but rarely anything exciting.

There's something to be said for coasting in a supportive environment for this season of your life. I'm thinking that every moment with your whole family will be invaluable later. Just a thought(though slightly morbid-sorry- I tend to think about worst case scenarios and then proceed as though best case might happen). As you said, if you're supposed to get it, the job will open up.
