Is this kid for real?

Idol did not disappoint this week: David Archuleta was unbelievable. I was sobbing! I watched him again on YouTube this morning and had to wipe away the tears once more. When it was announced that he would be performing "Imagine," I was nervous; things don't usually go well when contestants take on iconic songs like that. But he totally pulled it off. I can't get over it.

He's amazing. I bet he'll win.

He is wonderful. I guess that's why he's won some contests through his young career. He won the Junior Singer category of Star Search in 2003 when he was 12 years old.
Go David.

My GOD he's AMAZING! I don't watch Idol, but may now. He did that song justice. He put his own voice in yet let the beauty and simplicity of that song shine through. I got goosebumps and tears both.

Yes, he was amazing last night.

What did you think of the ladies tonight? I think the men outdid them this week.

Denise--

I was not too impressed by the women last night. I think my favorite woman so far is Alexandrea. Overall, I agree that the men are stronger this year, at least based on what I've seen.

I couldn't agree with you more!!! It was amazing!!! I can't bare to delete it off of my Tivo yet so I can watch it again and again and again. It was the first time ever I've voted for someone on American Idol. :)

WOW.

being in Finland at the moment I have (obviously) not been following Idol this year, looks like they've got at least one amazing talent on their hands.
