A Picture or Two, to Tide You Over

Here are pictures of the twins to tide you over until Snick returns. I'm not sure when that will be - I may have been wrong about the wireless internet at the hospital, or perhaps they are just too besotted to contemplate the computer.

Riley's with the stripey blanket, Madeleine is on the right with the inquisitive hand. Both very sleepy, and both very gorgeous.

I thought I would cry when your babies were born and I did. I knew that part of the reason I would be all teary is because I am a big wussy marshmallow, but I did not realize that the other reason would be because YOUR BABIES ARE SO INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL.

My most heartfelt congratulations on the birth of your children. Today is a wonderful day and I know you will treasure it.

I only lurk here normally - the babies look gorgeous. Have been following your blog for a while, and am so thrilled for both of you that the babies have arrived safely. Enjoy them, new born babies are amazing and savour that wonderful baby smell of newborns.
It seems like just yesterday that my first was born (now 8 1/2) and my third/ last is growing so quickly (6 mths old) that I try to capture every moment because it will be the last time one of my kids goes through this particular stage. It is a difficult but oh so amazing journey you are beginning. Good luck and seize every moment of joy you can.
